Joe Biden has a problem. Although he is the incumbent for the Democratic Party, he has some serious rivals for the 2024 nomination. A man from a famous family is gunning to take his job. Robert Kennedy Jr., son of a Secretary of State and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, is running for president.
And according to some polls, he’s gaining on old Joe.
Kennedy has gone on the warpath, criticizing Biden’s colossal failures. And he’s clearly not afraid to challenge the liberal establishment and the D.C. swamp. He has recently spoken about the assassination of his uncle. Nobody was expecting to hear this.
On Sunday, Robert Kennedy Jr [said] that he believes the CIA was involved in the murder of JFK…
Kennedy Jr., who announced in April that he was challenging Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination for president in 2024, said, “There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in his murder. I think it’s beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.”
“I’ll tell you the book that probably distilled millions of documents of evidence, including confessions of people who are involved in the crime and the 60-year cover-up, the best kind of distillation of that is a book called JFK and the Unspeakable by Jim Douglas,” Kennedy Jr. said and later added that he has read “100 books on the subject.” [Source: The Post Millennial]
Wow. Presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr claims the CIA was involved in the murder of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. For a long time, this was considered a wild conspiracy theory. But a leading Democrat, the nephew of the man, is now saying it is true.
Kennedy said that he has read one hundred books on the subject. I guess this was a topic of personal interest for the man since his father was also assassinated–just as he announced his presidential campaign.
President Kennedy famously said he planned on dismantling the CIA, which he believed had far too much power. That has given rise to the theory that they were behind his death and coverup. Documents related to JFK’s death were supposed to be released by 2017. But the CIA, surprisingly, convinced Trump not to.
Joe Biden also has refused to release these documents, adding fuel to the speculation.
But what does this mean for Kennedy’s campaign? Will stating this help him win over voters? Could he be angling himself as an enemy of the corrupt swamp that has covered up his uncle’s death for decades?
