If you’ve been paying attention to entertainment news at all over the last few years, you know that Disney is tanking. The once unstoppable Hollywood company has been losing billions over the last few years.
And it’s no secret why. The company outed itself as the biggest woke propaganda-making machine in the country. All of its recent films, from Star Wars to Marvel to animated classics, have been tainted with overt, progressive messaging.
Despite backlash from angry customers, they kept churning this garbage out. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, it released two films with extreme feminist and progressive messages. And both suffered humiliating defeats at the box office.

A once multi-billion dollar franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is now a laughing stock. All because Disney decided to kill off all its popular male heroes and make a film with a bunch of progressive woke-type characters.
But that’s not all! Disney also released a bizarrely leftist animated film called Wish, in which a young woman of color essentially replaces God to fulfill all the world’s deepest desires. I kid you not. Big surprise, this movie tanked hard.
Wish, the latest animated offering from Disney, opened to $31.7 million over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend, which included $19.5 million from Friday through Sunday. Original projections for the film had it opening to $35 million over the three-day weekend and $45 million to $50 million over the five-day weekend. [Source: MSN]
This is pretty bad for Disney, which was once the leader in big, beloved animated films. But this is the second animated feature to come out of Disney that was hated by audiences and could not bring in a profit.
How long will Disney keep making terrible, anti-American films and keep going? Are they really putting politics ahead of profits? After a certain point, you need money to keep the lights on. And there are not enough progressives in the country to bankroll this endless tide of bad films.
Now, the company has been forced to admit that its woke agenda is cinematic cancer.
A recent company filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission included a reference to “risks relating to misalignment with public and consumer tastes.”
“Generally, our revenues and profitability are adversely impacted when our entertainment offerings and products, as well as our methods to make our offerings and products available to consumers, do not achieve sufficient consumer acceptance”…
Disney went on to note that “consumers’ perceptions of our position on matters of public interest, including our efforts to achieve certain of our environmental and social goals, often differ widely and present risks to our reputation and brands.” [Source: The New York Post]
That’s all fancy talk that means one thing, Disney went woke and now, they’re going broke. The company was forced to admit that they their latest left-wing movies were “misaligned” with “public and consumer tastes.” That means people hate their progressive content!
After a certain point, the company has to explain to shareholders why they are doing so badly. People will just dump their Disney stock if they keep failing. And soon enough, the company could go under.
Disney had been ignoring this for a long time. For years, they’ve been pushing this leftist garbage, unconcerned that millions of Americans were telling them it sucked. Only now, after two movies in a row bombed during a time they should have soared, is the company owning up to its foolish agenda.
But does this mean the company will make an about-face and start making movies people like? Not likely. They still have the same woke idiots running the show. Unless they clean house and bring in executives and creators that actually share our values, they’ll keep churning out woke crap.
