He Was Sent to Prison for Making a Hillary Meme – Now a Federal Court is Stepping in

Democrats keep saying that if Trump is re-elected, he’ll turn America into a dictatorship. But only one person is making America into a horrifying, anti-free, dystopia: Joe Biden. The corrupt Chinese puppet has been abusing federal agencies to punish and intimidate his political enemies.

I don’t have to tell you about how Biden’s been treating J6 defendants like hardened criminals. He used the FBI to censor conservatives on social media. He used the IRS to intimidate journalists. He has even sent to jail a man who simply posted a meme.

Douglas Mackey made a meme mocking Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Election. He was fine until Joe Biden took office. The corrupt administration prosecuted Douglas, claiming he was trying to undermine the election (there’s a joke!). And he was sentenced to 7 months in prison and a massive fine.

Until a federal court stepped in.

A federal court on Monday halted the prison sentence for Douglas Mackey, who was convicted earlier this year of election interference for posting memes that mocked Hillary Clinton voters to cast their ballot via text during the 2016 presidential election.

Mackey was accused of a “scheme to deprive individuals of their constitutional right to vote” after a Twitter account he ran under the handle “Ricky Vaughn” posted memes in the lead-up to the election. In October, Judge Ann M. Donnelly of Federal District Court in Brooklyn sentenced Mackey to 7 months in prison, a $15,000 fine, and two years probation…

Mackey was charged one week after President Joe Biden assumed office and roughly four years after the 2016 election. The Justice Department claimed that Mackey had conspired to “injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate” people from exercising their right to vote. Prosecutors said that he and others had “intended variously to provoke, mislead, and, in some cases, deceive voters in the 2016 presidential election” with their posts. [Source: Daily Wire]

Biden is on the warpath, depriving Americans of their free speech rights. This episode is meant to intimidate conservative Americans. Millions will fear speaking their mind, especially criticizing the government, if they think they will be prosecuted and sent to jail.

Convicting this man over a meme is one of the worst violations of the First Amendment in American history.

Biden and Democrats are accusing Trump and supporters of the very things they are doing themselves. Biden is violating democracy by depriving an entire group of Americans from speaking their mind. He wants conservatives afraid, harassed, isolated, and condemned.

This ruling by the Second Circuit signals this convict could be overruled. Should the court not overturn it, Mackey has vowed to take this case to the Supreme Court.
