Ben Carson is a Republican who served as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Trump. He is a true American success story, rising from hard circumstances to become a doctor and U.S. statesman. Carson knows full well how someone can make something of themselves, thanks to the American dream.
He has been watching the state of the country under Joe Biden. And he is not pleased.
Carson has been a frequent critic of the Biden administration. Now, he is giving Joe some very bad news. Carson is watching as a major exodus is taking place within the Democratic Party. And if this trend continues, liberals might not have a leg to stand on.
Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson said Wednesday that black voters are no longer “just following ideology” as many are reportedly moving away from the Democratic Party ahead of the 2024 elections…
“I think they’re looking out for their own self-interest. There comes a point where things have gotten so bad that you have to reassess what you normally do. Why are things this bad? And they are finally having a look at actual policies rather than just following ideology. The same thing with the young people,” Carson stated. [Source: Daily Caller]
Ben Carson revealed that black voters are starting to let go of “ideology” that has long compelled them to vote Democrat. Polls have shown a growing number of black Americans turning on Biden and his party, as we near the 2024 Election.
Carson explained that, like many Americans, black Americans are looking at their circumstances and asking, “Why are things this bad?” Black voters flocked to Biden’s banner. Yet Biden has spent the last four years helping out illegal aliens and foreign nations.
Inflation has hurt black families and jobs are being given to migrants. Biden has seemingly done nothing to help black Americans. This is likely why many of them are refusing to support Joe, despite his former association with Barack Obama.
Carson said that this is the same for young voters, who have also been burned by Biden. Under Biden, expenses have skyrocketed. Young Americans entering the workforce are struggling to find work. Inflation is making it impossible for them to build wealth. First-time homebuyers—many of them young Americans—are out of luck as they struggle with high interest rates.
It is possible that Biden’s support with these groups continues to erode as we near the election.
