The first presidential debate was Biden’s chance to turn around negative swing state polls. But instead, it turned into a cringe-worthy nightmare. From the moment he stepped on stage, Biden struggled to make sense. He looked flustered, stumbled over his words, and failed to beat Trump. It’s no wonder folks are scratching their heads, wondering if this is the guy who can steer America through stormy seas.
When it came to the economy, foreign policy, and immigration, Biden was all over the place. His answers were a jumble of contradictions and vague promises that gave Trump repeated openings to jab him.
Democrats have been panicking over Biden’s performance. They can no longer dismiss Americans’ concerns over Joe’s cognitive decline. Some are now demanding Biden step down and let someone else run. But the White House came out, flatly refusing that option.
The White House, which typically refers to the campaign for 2024 matters, weighed in Friday morning about the chatter surrounding dropping out.
“That’s not happening. The only things being replaced are recession-causing MAGAnomics and radical abortion bans. These people have panicked as we won all along,” a White House official told The Hill. [Source: The Hill]
Biden’s White House shut down talk of finding another candidate to run for the Democrats. In typical, blissful denial, it claimed that Republicans are “panicked” as Joe’s “won all along.” I don’t know what dream world they are living in, but this is the most out-of-touch statement to come from this failed presidency in a long time.
The Biden campaign is no doubt fighting endless calls to pull old Joe. Not only is it refusing to wake up and smell the coffee, but they are forcing this sick old man to endure more humiliation.

We mock Joe Biden’s frailties from time to time. But the truth is, he does not look well. The debate showed us a man far too weak and confused to lead the country. Anyone with a conscience can see that. Yet, nobody within Biden’s inner circle will admit they are forcing an unwell man to do something so difficult. It is heartless and cruel that his wife, vice president, or closest advisers are unwilling to tell Joe to step down.
