Democrats Release Harris Clip–Users Can’t Believe What They See

Democrats Release Harris Clip–Users Can’t Believe What They See

Kamala Harris’ political career is looking a lot like her campaign bank account—empty and in the red. After a crushing defeat to Donald Trump in both the electoral and popular votes, she has laid low.

Riding on the failures of Joe Biden’s presidency, Harris somehow convinced herself she could beat a former president. Her campaign wasted billions, leaving her party not only defeated, but reportedly drowning in debt.

Now, Harris has reappeared on a call with supporters and campaign staff. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) released a snippet of the call—just 28 seconds long.

Let’s just say it wasn’t the motivational comeback moment they were likely hoping for. The reaction online has been less “rally the troops” and more “what on Earth was that?”

Vice President Kamala Harris’ first video to her supporters after the election stunned social media users Tuesday.

Many X users were buzzing about Harris’ appearance in the video, commenting about how there seemed to be something “off” with the vice president and expressing surprise it was publicly shared. [Source: Fox News]

The 28-second clip shared on the Democratic Party’s social media shows Harris trying to encourage supporters after her historic loss. “Don’t let anybody take your power from you,” she says.

“You have the same power that you did before Nov. 5.” While the words themselves might seem harmless, it’s the delivery that’s got people talking. Harris appeared disconnected, almost drunk, in the video. Instead of inspiring hope, it left many viewers scratching their heads.

Critics, including journalists, political analysts, and even casual observers, quickly weighed in. Fox News contributor Joe Concha summed it up, joking, “I’m not sure you guys want to be amplifying this. There’s something, ummmm, off with the vice president.”

National Review’s Dan McLaughlin added, “No video like this would ever have been released by a politician who is not hated by her staff.” And in a truly scathing comment, Republican Committee of Prince William County remarked, “The joy is gone.”

The most cutting critique came from former Trump White House advisor Ben Williamson, who quipped, “I’d read a 5,000-word article on how this got approved for release.”

Many wondered why the DNC would choose to share such a lackluster and awkward video, especially as Harris’ reputation is already teetering on the edge.

Harris’ brief reappearance came during a private call with campaign donors and volunteers earlier that day. For the first time since conceding to Trump, she addressed her loss.

“The outcome of this election obviously is not what we wanted,” she said. “But I am proud of the race we ran, and your role in this was critical.”

Critical? Perhaps. But effective? Not so much. In 107 days, Harris managed to spend billions of dollars on what can only be described as a logistical and strategic nightmare.

Meanwhile, Harris has mostly stayed out of the public eye, enjoying a Hawaiian vacation with second gentleman Doug Emhoff. Her absence has left many Democrats fuming, as they face the fallout of her defeat and the financial chaos left in her wake.

Harris’ presidential campaign was always an uphill battle. But her inability to connect with voters, coupled with her refusal to take responsibility for the campaign’s failures, has left her political future in doubt.

Even her supporters seem disillusioned, with many questioning how such a disastrous campaign could have gone so unchecked.

Meanwhile, Trump is enjoying the glow of his historic victory, proving once again his ability to connect with voters and galvanize his base.

Harris’ defeat is not just a loss for her—it’s a reflection of the Democratic Party’s struggles to resonate with everyday Americans.
