“I don’t know why anybody thinks that it’s controversial that they all need to go,” Fetterman stated, echoing the frustration of millions of Americans. His straightforward approach stands in stark contrast to the Democratic leadership’s continued deflection and denial.
The congressional math reveals a stark reality. While 48 House Democrats ultimately voted for the bill, recent polling shows over 70% of Americans support stricter border security measures. The Senate now needs just seven Democratic votes to pass this crucial legislation – a threshold that has party leadership in panic mode.
President-elect Trump’s influence continues to shape the immigration debate, with Republicans standing unified. All 52 Senate Republicans are co-sponsoring the legislation, presenting Democratic senators with a clear choice: protect American citizens or protect their party’s failed policies.
