Sparks Fly As Republicans Tear Into Fauci [VIDEO]

Congressman Jim Jordan and Dr. Fauci got into a fiery debate over how the lockdowns and restrictions have “assaulted freedom” over the past year.

“Are we going to allow this forever? … What standard or measure or outcome do we have to meet before we get our liberty back?” Jordan asked Fauci this week during a House hearing.

“You’re indicating freedom and liberty. I look at it as a public health issue to stop people from dying., Fauci said.

“You don’t believe Americans’ liberties have been harmed in the past year, Dr. Fauci?” the Congressman asked.

“I don’t see at as a liberty thing … It’s about public health., Fauci said.

“You believe the Constitution is stopped during a pandemic?” Jordan said.

“This will end when the level of infection is very small. It is at a high level right now, so there is danger again., Fauci said.

“Dr. Fauci, over the past year, Americans’ rights have been assaulted. Your right to assemble, your right to petition the government, freedom of speech, has all been harmed., Jordan said.

The exchange comes after some Republicans have ripped Fauci for his management of the pandemic, most notably Senator Rand Paul.

“Dr. Fauci should voluntarily be removed from television because his fearmongering is a huge disservice and most of what he claims is not matched by the science from his own organization., Paul, who is also a doctor, said this week on Fox Business.
