You really have to hand it to Bernie Sanders. Not only is the man obsessed with communism to the point of absurdity (he honeymooned in Soviet Russia, for crying out loud). But he keeps letting the Democratic Party screw him over.
Remember 2016? Wikileaks revealed the DNC was working against Sanders, while favoring Clinton. They even gave her debate questions ahead of time, to stump old Bernie. In 2020, the party coerced numerous primary candidates to drop out in March, so Biden could scoop up more votes.
But, that’s okay, Bernie has not given up. Because he’s willing to run again, as long as the party’s okay with it.
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders says he is open to another run for the presidency in 2024, if Democrat President Biden decides not to seek a second term.
Sanders is an Independent but ran for president in 2016 and 2020 as a Democrat.
“In the event of an open 2024 Democratic presidential primary, Sen. Sanders has not ruled out another run for president, so we advise that you answer any questions about 2024 with that in mind,” reads a memo from a top Sanders political adviser. [Source: Just the News]
This guy’s dumber than Biden. After being sabotaged by the DNC twice, Bernie Sanders is considering running as a Democrat again in 2024. But only if Joe Biden, a man suffering from dementia, decides not to run again.
How sad is that? Sanders was cheated out of the nomination twice, for establishment figures. Yet he still is playing ball with this corrupt, useless party. You’d think he would just run against Biden in 2024, just to see if he can beat him?
I’m not sure why Sanders is even considering another run. Biden is essentially just doing whatever Sanders wants. When Biden got the nomination, he recruit most if not all of Sanders’s people to craft his economic policy. Biden is far from the “moderate” he promised to be and is in almost every way a Bernie socialist.
Which only proves Bernie would be just as terrible a president as Biden. All of his goons are advising Biden’s decisions. And look how far that’s gotten him? An open border, a tanked energy industry, raging inflation, and war overseas.
You’d think Bernie would just bow out now before voters realize this is really all his fault?
But, truth be told, we hope he does run again. Just run against Biden and steal the progressive votes.
That would make Trump’s victory even easier.
