At the Texas Republican Party convention, where they dubbed him “Eyepatch McCain,” Stein and his crew surrounded Crenshaw, calling him a RINO and admonishing him for being one. The fake news media waged a smear campaign against the protesters and the Proud Boys in an article published on Mediaite.
“They got physical with a lot of people, including striking them with cameras,” an unnamed witness, presumably someone close to Crenshaw, informed Mediaite regarding the incident. “His campaign manager was aggressively pushed into a column by his campaign manager after being assaulted.”
Crenshaw claims that his detractors are “incels” in a tweet to the Mediaite piece.
Stein released a video in which he proves the allegations of assault were wrong. In fact, it was Crenshaw’s crew of goons who became angry during the dispute:
This video by @Ccampbellbased fully exonerates myself and exposes the lies of @Mediaite and the rest of the mainstream media running cover for @DanCrenshawTX https://t.co/OomXu6gjln

We’ve previously covered Crenshaw being a thorn in the side of the America First movement within the GOP, particularly on international policy:
“On the newest edition of his Hold These Truths with Dan Crenshaw podcast, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) defended neoconservative foreign policy of perpetual war and international intervention.”
“We’re the United States of America, so we have to be prepared for everything,” Crenshaw explained as he laid out his case for an ‘America Last’ foreign policy.
“China just has to get ready for subjugating their own people, which is one of their major goals, and then they have to focus on screwing with us,” he added. “Russia is mostly interested in its perimeter. They want the Ukraine; that’s generally all they care about.”
The country must continue playing the role of world police, despite having had no success in this capacity for many decades, because “we have to care about everything.”
“We have to be concerned about all of it,” Crenshaw stated. “Too many on our side get caught up in this debate. They try to persuade us that we can be an Ostrich and hide, but it just makes you a sitting duck. It’s just incredibly stupid thinking and dangerous thinking.”
“Everyone who has ever declared, ‘No more endless conflicts’ as their foreign policy is a friggin’ moron,’” he said.
