We all know that the ongoing crisis on our border is the direct result of Biden’s agenda. It is no mistake, but the intended goal. Biden and his Democrats are deliberately leaving the border open, so they can exploit illegal aliens for votes. That is why he is shipping thousands of them to all corners of the country—and why Democrats have historically opposed voter ID laws.
But American people are suffering constantly, especially those who live close to the border. The open border is all but a red carpet for criminals, smugglers, and drug traffickers. Communities are overrun with crime and violence. Biden sits back and ignores it. But now, one county sheriff is calling this what it really is.
Kinney County, Texas, declared the “existence of an ‘invasion’” along the Texas border with Mexico. The declaration calls on Texas Governor Greg Abbott to also “acknowledge the existence of an invasion on our border with Mexico.” Five other counties spoke in support of Kinney County’s declaration…
“During the month of June, Kinney County law enforcement has prevented over 67 smuggling attempts along our roadways,” the statement reads. “This past weekend included the unfortunate deaths of 3 illegal aliens who were involved with human smuggling in Kinney County.”
The officials stated the county has been forced to “militarize our school campus with vehicle barriers to prevent high-speed chases from entering campus and injuring children.”
“As a Texan, this is not acceptable,” County Judge Tully Shahan wrote. “We will no longer allow the sovereignty of Texas to be invaded by those unwilling to obey our laws.” [Source: Breitbart]
Kinney County has officially called the ongoing border crisis an “invasion.” Countless criminal aliens have infested its communities, leading to death and destruction. It is getting so bad they had to erect what essentially are barricades on school property, so fleeing aliens can’t run over children.
Last week, an 18-wheeler was discovered in San Antonio crammed with over 100 illegals. Fifty-five of them died, as a result of the inhumane conditions. This only happened because smugglers know they can get away with it, thanks to Biden’s refusal to uphold our immigration laws.
The sheriff of Kinney County is urging the governor to declare this an invasion as well. If the state formally recognizes the open border as an invasion, they might have more resources to battle it. Of course, the federal government under Biden will not acknowledge such a move. An invasion would require our military to respond and defend our border.
Biden will not do that. He doesn’t protect the border now, why would that change because of an “invasion”?
But this can give Gov. Abbott more weight behind efforts to secure the border. If the state official declares they are under invasion by drug cartels, smugglers, and criminal aliens, then perhaps more states will join them.
They can pressure the federal government to do something or take it to court. If Biden continues to refuse, perhaps state forces can still intervene.
In any event, this only increases attention to the exploding crisis. Soon, Biden won’t be able to ignore it anymore.
