Well, that ended quickly. Joe Biden and his Pentagon did a victory lap in announcing the slaying of al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri. This man was considered the leader of the terrorist group, after Biden Laden’s death.
There have been no confirmations of Ayman al-Zawahiri’s death. No body and no evidence. It is even suspicious that he was supposedly in Afghanistan, out in the open, when Biden claimed there was no al Qaeda presence in the country.
But that’s not even the half of it. Even as Biden took credit for this slaying, the State Department scrambled to issue a dire warning.
The State Department has issued a “Worldwide Caution” travel advisory following the U.S drone strike that killed al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in Afghanistan.
“Following al-Zawahiri’s death, supporters of al- Qa’ida, or its affiliated terrorist organizations, may seek to attack U.S. facilities, personnel, or citizens,” the State Department advised travelers Tuesday…
“As terrorist attacks often occur without warning, U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to maintain a high level of vigilance and practice good situational awareness when traveling abroad,” the agency also said.
U.S. intel suggests that al Qaeda is plotting “terrorist attacks against U.S. interests in multiple regions across the globe,” the State Department also said. [Source: Just the News]
Um, call me crazy, but I thought the point of killing a terrorist leader was to reduce the odds of a terrorist attack. But Biden is incompetent that the one successful hit (if it was successful) against a terrorist is sparking concerns of more terrorist attacks against Americans overseas. Perhaps even here at home, thanks to the open border.
The State Department had to warn Americans traveling and living aboard to “practice good situational awareness.” Because al Qaeda might blow them up.
Oh, thanks Blinken! The same idiots who botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, unable and unwilling to save Americans are now giving very little help to Americans overseas. Even though they could be the target of a terrorist attack.
The DOS is simply telling them, “Hey, an evil group that hates Americans and is willing to suicide bomb them might be coming after you. So, you know, look around a little bit more when you board a plane.”
That’s not good enough. Not even a little bit.
How pathetic is this administration? Even something they claim is a win is really a failure. Biden took credit for the death of Ayman al-Zawahiri, only for the act to put thousands of Americans in harm’s way.
But that’s par for the course for the worst administration in American history. At this point, they should all take a 2-year vacation. Leave the country in our hands.
