Biden’s Fed Punishes White Men As Inflation Soars

Perhaps, as Jim Croce once crooned (sorry, kids), “You don’t fool with Jim,” but in the current cutthroat world of politics, “you don’t mess around with Ben.” Ben Shapiro, the intellectually honest and superbly fluent conservative political pundit, broadcaster, lawyer, writer, and author. Or, in this instance, you most definitely do not throw out red meat for Shapiro to attack.

As out-of-control inflation continues to rise, the Associated Press, in full show of its political correctness and wokification credentials, inevitably sings the Federal Reserve’s praises, “thanks to the terrible policies of equally-woke Joe Biden and the Democrat Party:

“The Federal Reserve’s leadership is now more diversified than ever. The central bank’s interest rate choices now include more Black, female, and LGBT policymakers than at any other point in its 109-year existence.”

The Federal Reserve System, sometimes known as the Federal Reserve or simply “the Fed,” is the central bank of the United States. It was established by Congress to give the country a safer, more adaptable, and more stable monetary and financial system.

Shapiro stepped up to the plate with a few tweets of his own, mockingly praising the Fed for “doing a bang-up job” after viewing AP’s gushing endorsement of the Federal Reserve.

Ouch. And it is fully deserving of it.

Next, Shapiro “unfairly” used the truth card by satirically putting AP’s stupidity into correct perspective with the following one-liner:

“Sure, inflation is at a 40-year high, but doesn’t the fact that people in power are varied in terms of sexual orientation and race make you feel better?” — Ignorant individuals

Shapiro’s brief attendance at a Podcast Movement conference in Dallas sparked a hyperbolic breakdown on the insane left, as my RedState colleague Brad Slager wrote last Thursday. The conference’s organizers quickly apologized. Shapiro’s offense? being present.

As my colleague Nick Arama noted in the beginning of August, while July inflation was estimated to have been 8.5%, it was slightly lower than June’s 9.1%, which was probably due to a decline in gas prices. Being Biden, the liar-in-chief and his aides falsely claimed there was “zero inflation” throughout the month just because inflation didn’t rise as much as it did in June. Biden also raced to conduct a victory lap.

Even more absurdly, as I noted in July, Biden sarcastically blamed Republicans for skyrocketing inflation; his similarly absurd “Putin’s price rises” drivel was laughed off, and even the Fed chairman in effect termed Biden’s claims BS.

While the left’s narrative continues to resonate with ignorant liberals, it is losing strength for one obvious reason: it is a crock of nonsense that can’t withstand the scrutiny of reality. We see indications of that reality even in the lapdog liberal media.

The most recent instance, which I covered on Tuesday as well, comes from NBC News, where anxious executives reportedly opted to fire “Meet the Press” anchor Chuck Todd owing to the program’s consistently dismal ratings. As we also noted, The Most Trusted Name in NewsTM [ROFL emoji] is probably not yet done with its purging of Democrat lapdogs, despite the fact that CNN eventually fired the unstoppable communist Brian Stelter.
