It seems the left’s current 2022 agenda has been to paint Republicans (specifically Trump supporters) as “threats to democracy.” Democrats want to scare voters into thinking conservatives within the “MAGA movement” are “extreme” and dangerous to our way of life.
Of course, they don’t explain how that is possible. But that hasn’t stopped them from painting millions of Americans as insurrections that want to overthrow the country. It seems, though, that some Democrats are going beyond what we have seen before. Ohio Democrat Tim Ryan went as far as to say “we” need to “kill” this movement.
Ryan said, “I’m one of the most bipartisan members of Congress. The last two congresses, I have been in the top 10% of most bipartisan. I want to work across the aisle. Look, Democrats aren’t right on everything, and I’m willing to sit down and have conversations about how we can move out of this age of stupidity and into an age of reconciliation and reform. How do we fix all of these broken systems.”
He continued, “Some of those answers will come from Republicans, not the extremists that we are dealing with every single day. We’ve got to kill and confront that movement, but working with normal mainstream Republicans, that’s going to be really, really important.” [Source: Breitbart]
Okay, so let’s get this straight. This Democrat claims to be the “most bipartisan” member of Congress. He brags that we need to enter an “age of reconciliation and reform.” Okay, sounds good so far.
Then he claims that “extremist” Republicans’ “movement” needs to be “confronted” and “killed.” Really, Ryan? You talk about reconciliation among Americans. Then you call millions “extremists” who need to be confronted?
What is he really talking about? Why is a political candidate talking about “killing” even a movement?
It’s pretty rich to hear Democrats talk about unity and reconciliation one minute, then throw around attacks and slander the next. This comes soon after Florida governor candidate Charlie Crist called Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, “DeSatan.”
Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist compared himself to Jesus in a bizarre stump speech that was uncovered this week. During the speech, he said he was fighting against “DeSatan,” a reference to the state’s popular Republican Governor Ron DeSantis. [Source: Daily Wire]
Democrats pretend to be the civil and responsible ones. Yet they are never called out by the media over their reckless and dangerous comments against their rivals.
It’s no secret that Democrats are facing a tough midterm season. Odds are, many of them will lose their bids. But does that justify treating their rivals no better than common thugs?
These kinds of comments are what further drive Americans apart. What inspires evil people from going too far?
The man is literally talking about “killing.” Shouldn’t he be called out by his own party?
