In recent months, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has picked a fight with Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis. It seems is bitter about DeSantis’ massive success and constant presence in the news. The California Democrat is experiencing a painful case of FOMO, it seems, as he tries to inject himself into the national conversation.
But all he’s managed to do is expose his own failures as a leader, as he tries to insult Florida’s governor.
Newsom has aired ads, posted billboards, and repeatedly commented on Ron DeSantis. He’s slandered the Republican’s leadership–which has helped Florida soar during the post-pandemic era. But Newsom’s latest attacks really take the cake. And he is blissfully unaware of the irony.
Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “insane” and “sick” for moving migrants from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard…
“…That is insane. Just think about. It that’s insane. He went to another state to find migrants and use state money that was intended for unauthorized immigrants, not those seeking legal asylum and send them to an island.”
He added, “It’s sick. I am a parent. Man how do I explain that to my, forget Democrat, Republican. It’s like, what? Someone did that? They would do that to kids? To other people’s kids? To human beings? What kind of person does that?” [Source: Breitbart]
Gavin Newsom is so stupid, he posted ads in red states that quoted Jesus Christ to justify abortion. So, you have to forgive us when we don’t buy his attacks against a popular governor like DeSantis.
The out-of-touch and bitter Democrat called DeSantis sick for flying 50 migrants (willingly) to Martha’s Vineyard. The move exposed the liberal elite’s hypocrisy over the border crisis–and is forcing Biden to actually address it.
We find it shockingly hypocritical for Newsom to call that “sick,” when he does nothing about countless migrants entering his state. Deaths at the California/Mexico border are skyrocketing, as drug cartels and human trafficking rings move back and forth without fear. Newsom turns a blind eye as countless victims are being abused by these criminal groups.
No, Mr. Governor, that is sick. And it’s also insane to turn a blind eye to the massive crime epidemic and homeless crisis going on in large California cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Large parts of downtown LA have become shanty towns. Businesses are forced to close as the city collapses.
Crime has gotten so bad in San Francisco, that residents have given up locking their car doors–because the windows are just going to get smashed. How long before they leave their house doors unlocked?
Newsom talks big when he’s on a liberal news network. But he refuses to debate Republicans–because he knows they will destroy his failed record. Newsom is single-handedly destroying California–yet he has the gall to call DeSantis “sick.”
What a joke.
