At this point, we all have to agree that Joe Biden is no moderate. The man has cowered to the radical left, embracing socialist policies that would make Bernie Sanders blush. He has burned through trillions of taxpayer dollars–intent on taking more. He has shut down our energy sector, forcing us to ship our wealth to Arab nations.
And he intends to push an agenda that undermines our law and order, rewarding criminals and legalizing drugs. He is currently working on a plan to pardon thousands of marijuana convictions, in a pathetic attempt to steal some votes in the upcoming elections.
But even that is not good enough for his overlords, the left wing of the party. Because braindead AOC says his pardon doesn’t help illegal aliens.
New York Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to see President Joe Biden extend his executive order pardoning simple marijuana possession offenses to cover illegal immigrants.
“Contrary to rhetoric, Biden is not actually pardoning ALL federal simple marijuana possession convictions, only some,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on social media. “His executive order discriminates based on immigration status, which is frankly upsetting and inexcusable.” […]
A policy expert at the Center for Immigration Studies, meanwhile, argues that such an expansion would “undoubtedly benefit illegal alien drug traffickers.” [Source: Just the News]
This is why you never even listen to a “progressive” Democrat. If you give them an inch, they take a mile. AOC wants Biden to not only pardon people who broke the law, but even illegal aliens who should not be in America in the first place.
This is how stupid AOC is. She not only wants to reward criminals, but those who broke the law to come here.
But this is just a backdoor to more than just legalizing marijuana. Biden is clearly violating his constitutional authority, trying to legalize the drug without going through Congress (for which he could get impeached). But if he bows his knee to Ms. AOC, he will be opening the door to unilateral amnesty.
Because, if these illegals get off for marijuana, why not let them off for breaking our immigration laws? We could see illegal aliens’ records getting expunged, giving them a literal “get out of jail free” card.
It seems AOC wants to create a loophole for letting illegals stay. You can escape the consequences of coming here illegally, so long as you have a marijuana charge.
So, AOC is rewarding both criminal aliens and drug offenders. It’s a win-win… if you hate America.
This is how morally bankrupt Democrats have become. They are so obsessed with their agenda, they are actually punishing law-abiding citizens while rewarding criminals and illegals.
