Biden’s Ukraine Buddies Go After Christians – Zelensky Attacks Monks Over Wild Accusation

The mainstream media–as well as Joe Biden and the Washington swamp–want you to think that we should keep bankrolling the war in Ukraine. Yes, Russia is wrong to invade the country. But is it our job to throw away billions in tax dollars to fund someone else’s war?

Biden isn’t being virtuous here. He’s simply giving our money away to massive corporations that make guns, bombs, and other weapons of war. He found a way to keep the military-industrial complex happy, while pretending to fight tyranny.

But Ukraine is hardly the democracy-loving country the media has painted it out to be. It’s long been criticized (even by Joe Biden himself) for corruption at all levels of its government. Now, it seems Zelensky and his regime is becoming as xenophobic and hateful as the enemy they fight.

Authorities in Kyiv have reportedly expelled a large number of Christian monks from a historic monastery amid suspicion they are “pro-Russian”.

Around 1,000 Christians residing in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery complex have reportedly been ordered to pack their bags and leave by the Ukrainian government amid claims that they hold “pro-Russian” views.

The move is part of an ongoing campaign of de-Russification of Ukraine and suppression of what the government sees as potential fifth columnists as it fights a defensive war against Russia’s ongoing attempted invasion…

“It’s as if they are taking our home,” one woman living in the monastery reportedly said. “God will punish you, and others like you for playing with his will.” [Source: Breitbart]

How interesting. It appears the media’s portrayal of Zelensky as being this caring, tireless “hero” was overblown. He is becoming as bad as Putin, spreading fear and hatred within Ukraine against anyone remotely connected with Russia.

He is even going to war with monks. How evil do you have to be to evict monks from their home? This group of Christians are members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. According to reports, this church continues to maintain “communion” with the Russian Orthodox Church. So, because Christians are seeking unity, even over national borders, they deserve to be treated like enemies?

This is not a matter of defending Ukraine. This is about a president abusing his power to secure control over a country. He is fomenting fear and hate across Ukraine towards anyone with even the slightest connection to Russia.

Considering Russia is just over the border–and many Ukrainians have a long history with Russia–that means Zelensky could start “purging” his own people. And he already has.

How can the United States support such ugly and immoral behavior? How is this any different from what Germany did in the 1930s, when they went after Jewish citizens? How far will Zelensky go in trampling the rights of Ukrainian citizens?

Unless we pull our funding of this war, we are just as responsible for this violation.
