We know that left-leaning “journalists” and news outlets have one agenda. And that is to prop up Democrats by slandering Republicans. The liberal media almost never reports on the mistakes and failures of Joe Biden and other Democrats. But they are very quick to report on stories that make Republicans look bad.
Much too quick. In many cases, liberal outlets rush to report on the latest “scandal” that might hurt a GOP candidate or leader. They throw gas on the flames, hoping it would destroy their careers or hopes of re-election. Not long ago, far-left “reporter” Ana Kasparian hyped up a woman who attacked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
That woman, big surprise, was a total fraud. And now, Kasparian is forced to admit it.
“The Young Turks” co-host Ana Kasparian apologized to her far-left audience overnight for giving air time to the discredited Democratic activist and Ron DeSantis critic Rebekah Jones.
“The only person that should be held responsible for that is me. I’m the executive producer of the show and I screwed up royally,” Kasparian admitted.
Jones is a former Florida Department of Health data analyst who received widespread media attention during the COVID-19 pandemic when she accused the DeSantis administration of urging her to alter the state’s coronavirus data. A state inspector general later determined her claims to be false. More recently, the Democratic activist falsely accused DeSantis of ordering her son’s arrest.
On Thursday, Kasparian corrected her show’s past reporting and offered an apology.
“Part of the reason why I screwed up is because I had all these biases, of course, against Ron DeSantis,” Kasparian said.
She said she didn’t feel bad about having a prejudice against DeSantis but admitted it became a problem in this case because it “blinded” her to the facts. [Source: Fox News]
You might feel tempted to applaud this woman for coming clean on her mistake, considering virtually zero liberal reporters do this. But let’s face the facts. She isn’t remorseful over her bias. And she isn’t about to change her ways.
She got into this mess because she, along with the rest of the liberal media, operates under a hatred they refuse to let go of. These are leftists who have been programmed to think all conservatives are “fascists” who want to oppress minorities, crush working families, and turn America into Nazi Germany.
Kasparian was quick to give this liar a platform. But she’d do it again in a heartbeat. In the past, this kind of apology meant someone was going to change. That they are taking stock of their decisions and are apologizing, because they no longer want to do what they are sorry for doing.
But will that be the case for a company like “The Young Turks”? Of course, not. Apologies like this, these days, are meaningless. It’s just an attempt by the company to save face, so they can keep on doing what they intend to do.
Like the drunken husband who apologizes for the umpteenth time for getting a DUI, Kasparian and her socialist allies have no intentions of being honest about Republicans. She will fall for the next hoax, all in her mad dash to misrepresent conservatives, so Americans will hate them as much as she does.
