Biden Agency Comments on DeSantis Idalia Response – You Won’t Believe What They Said!

America was stunned when GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis announced he was leaving the campaign trail to return to Florida. The governor assumed leadership in the wake of Hurricane Idalia, the worst storm to hit Florida’s Big Bend in over 125 years. As he did last year, during his re-election bid, DeSantis paused his campaign efforts to ensure Floridians were taken care of.

And people are noticing. Last time around, Joe Biden himself went down to Florida to assure Americans of federal aid. It seems the Democrat wasn’t expecting to see that the state was in good hands. Now, the federal agency created to oversee disaster relief is on hand in Florida as it recovers from Idalia. And this is what Biden’s lackeys are saying about Gov. DeSantis.

Hurricane Idalia made landfall as a Category 3 strength storm in Florida’s Big Bend at 7:45 a.m. this morning, smashing into the town of Keaton Beach, with 125 mph winds. Called “an unprecedented event” by the National Weather Service in Tallahassee, Idalia is the most powerful storm to hit Florida’s Big Bend in over 125 years, triggering evacuation orders affecting tens of thousands of people. FEMA administrator Deanne Criswell told CNN that the state’s response has helped restore power rapidly… [Source: Daily Wire]

You know the worms on CNN were not expecting this response. FEMA praised Gov. DeSantis and his team’s work to restore power and normalcy after the storm. FEMA is a federal agency responsible for providing aid to Americans. Most of the time, they do a poor job of it.

These guys were probably relieved to see DeSantis and state officials doing their job for them! FEMA is woefully inept at providing aid to Americans hit by disaster. Some Americans are denied basic help, even after losing everything. And FEMA is in no way capable of overseeing infrastructure restoration, like clearing roads and repairing downed power lines.

But DeSantis’s team has been going above and beyond for the people of Florida. It would have been easy for the state to sit back and expect FEMA to do everything. That’s what many governors do, when faced with having to actually lead. Instead, DeSantis and company are schooling FEMA on how to actually handle an emergency.

DeSantis did not sit around and wait for the federal government to take care of everything. His team was prepared long before the storm made landfall. They issued evacuation warnings and mobilized the response. Power is being restored as we speak, as recovery teams are working to repair storm damage.

There is no way FEMA could do a fraction of what DeSantis is doing. And DeSantis’s tireless leadership is a powerful indictment against Joe Biden, who went on vacation twice as Maui burned.
