It has become a common sight for Joe Biden to struggle while speaking. The mainstream media has long ignored it, but even the most biased pundits are starting to come around. The 80-year-old Democrat has a long history of making “gaffes.” But in recent years, what used to be simple slights have turned into glaring mistakes.
Biden has forgotten basic facts, such as dates and locations. He fumbles the names of his own cabinet members. Frequently, fact-checkers have called out bogus claims from his own personal history. Most recently, he gave a speech during a Labor Day appearance in Philadelphia. And his comments were littered with troubling errors.

During his Labor Day speech, Biden claimed he was elected to the United States Senate thanks to Philadelphia. Biden was a senator from the state of Delaware, meaning he did not receive votes from a city in the state of Pennsylvania.
It seems he wanted to pander to the Philadelphia residents, but ended up making a false statement.
He went on to thank them for getting him elected as president. But claimed he was “sworn-in in January of 2020.” As anyone can tell Joe, he was not sworn in in 2020 but was running for president at the time. He was sworn into office in January of 2021.
Considering the significance of a year like 2020, it would be hard for anyone to confuse it with another year.
These two gaffes are common for Biden, who is increasingly struggling to communicate clearly to the public. Biden often forgets where he is, and the dates of specific events. He confuses his own history so frequently, that it has forced mainstream media fact-checkers to criticize his statements as false.
During the speech, he went on to claim that his economic policy, known as “Bidenomics” is working. There could not be a more inaccurate statement, given Biden’s “policy” has amounted to tremendous government spending that has led to rampant inflation. Beyond that, Biden has done little to address economic problems that have hurt countless Americans.
According to a recent post from the RNC, overall inflation is up by a staggering 16% since Biden was sworn in. And grocery prices have skyrocketed by 20%.
