I don’t have to tell you that Democrats are showing their true colors in the wake of this Hamas attack on Israel. Most people have been horrified by the news that terrorists killed and kidnapped helpless civilians.
But, in a move that is shocking Americans, progressives are taking the side of the terrorists! Pro-Palestinian groups, including college students and congressional lawmakers, have all but blamed Israel for the attack.
They are even outraged that Israel is defending itself from these cruel murderers and rapists. And now, an 11-year veteran of the State Department is quitting in protest of Biden’s Israel stance. But you won’t believe what it is.
An 11-year veteran of the U.S. State Department has resigned his position over President Joe Biden’s handling of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict…
“… I believe to the core of my soul that the response Israel is taking, and with it the American support both for that response, and for the status quo of the occupation, will only lead to more and deeper suffering for both the Israeli and the Palestinian people – and is not in the long term American interest,” he asserted. Are you kidding me? A top State Department official is quitting his job because Joe Biden is supporting Israel. John Paul, the former Director of Congressional & Public Affairs, is apparently disgusted that Biden supports Israel’s right to defend itself.
He claims that the Hamas attack was “a monstrosity of monstrosities.” But he then blasts Israel for responding to the evil that these terrorists have inflicted on helpless civilians. Notice how he used the word “occupation.”
That is a term used by anti-Israel activists, who don’t believe Jews have a right to live in their ancestorial homeland. Pro-Palestinian progressives claim Israel is wrongfully “occupying” land that rightfully belongs to terrorists who murder babies.
This man quit his job because Biden was helping a nation that has been our ally since 1948. For decades, America has provided support for the one Jewish nation in the world. Israel is surrounded by enemies intent on wiping it out.
Yet this man, along with many others, is siding with a group that is spreading death and lies around the world.
Biden is receiving pressure from his own party to turn on Israel and side with murderous terrorists. Terrorists, by the way, that would have no qualms about killing every last American.
Let’s see if Biden crumbles to the left, as he’s done before.
