Republicans Unite to Elect New House Speaker – Reporter Immediately Has a Meltdown

Three weeks ago, a small group of House Republicans sabotaged the party. Led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, these Republicans joined with Democrats to take down House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

What followed was a pathetic series of failures, where the GOP showed the country how divisive and self-serving many of its members are. Only a handful of Republicans prevented respected leaders like Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan from becoming the next Speaker.

After days of uncertainty and endless slander from the left, Republicans got their act together and unanimously elected Mike Johnson as the next House Speaker. Johnson is a conservative out of Louisiana who voted to decertify the 2020 Election results. He is a Trump-leaning Republican with strong convictions.

So, naturally, the liberal media is flipping out.

An MSNBC reporter went off the rails Wednesday when discussing the election of Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana as speaker of the House.

Johnson was elected as speaker by a 220-209 vote in the House of Representatives the day after Republican Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota ended his bid for the speakership on Tuesday, replacing Republican Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California, who was removed as speaker by a 216-210 vote on Oct. 3. “He’s Jim Jordan with a jacket and a smile,” MSNBC correspondent Ali Vitali told “Deadline: White House” host Nicolle Wallace…

“I know some people might say it’s in the past, but certainly January 6th and 2020 loom so large over this building every single day, and now you have someone in the presidential line of succession who helped with that rationale in a key way that Republican members of Congress were using his legal bases that were, or course, flimsy and non-constitutional, but were trying to use them as their rationale for why they voted against certifying the election results, I think that’s extremely striking and speaks to where the party is right now,” Vitali said. Wow. Talk about having a chip on your shoulder! Ali Vitali of MSNBC kind of lost her mind over the selection of Mike Johnson as the new House Speaker. She claimed he is Jim Jordan with a jacket and a smile.

That might come as welcoming news to you or I. But in the eyes of a Democrat, that is the worst-case scenario. Vitali spewed all kinds of attacks against Johnson. At the heart of her ramblings was the accusation that he, along with Jordan and other Republicans, tried to “overthrow” the Constitution with their criticisms of the 2020 Election.

For three years, Democrats have lied by saying that anyone who dares question an election marked by controversy and chaos is an “insurrectionist.” They repeatedly point to the January 6 “riot” to prove that those who believe Trump was the victim of some measure of election fraud (or at least want a real investigation into the election), is an enemy of democracy.

The new House Speaker voted to decertify the election after numerous states claimed they had evidence of voter fraud. State legislatures wanted Congress to send the results back to them, so they could have a second look. Then-Vice President Pence went along with the left’s narrative, preventing a real investigation from happening.

Democrats are terrified that we now have a Speaker who will defy the left’s narratives and hopefully put Americans first. They deserve to be terrified.
