In recent years, top news network Fox News has seen major shakeups. In a move that shocked many, the channel fired popular host Tucker Carlson.
That led to major changes in its primetime lineup, some that might not have gone over well with viewers.
A holdout at the network has been Sean Hannity—an outspoken conservative and Trump ally. Now, the news host has revealed major changes. He is leaving, and it couldn’t come at a better time.
Sean Hannity has officially relocated to Florida.
The Fox News host first announced his radio show Tuesday, noting that he was “broadcasting now from my new home in the free state of Florida.”…
Hannity’s move followed what many have referred to as a “blue state exodus” with thousands of citizens moving from blue states like California and New York to more red states like Florida and Texas. Those moving to red states have cited reasons like a lower cost of living or a desire to move to a safer area. [Source: Fox News]
Following his friend, Donald Trump, Sean Hannity announced he has officially moved from New York to the Sunshine State. He announced the change on his radio program, revealing he was now broadcasting from his new home in Florida.
His decision to leave New York appears to mirror many others who have recently fled the blue state. He called Florida the “free state,” a knock to Democrat-run NYC, and its many restrictions.
Many conservatives have fled blue states in recent years. That trend only increased during COVID, when most Democrat-run states imposed lockdowns that lasted over a year. But the trend does not appear to be slowing down.
The biggest losers are California and New York. These states have lost so many residents, that they are looking at lost seats in Congress and devastated tax revenues. The top states people are moving to appear to be Florida, Texas, and other red states.
