Since Biden entered office, the Southern border has been overwhelmed by migrants. Many critics have blasted the administration for seemingly encouraging illegal border crossings.
Texas, like all border states, is overrun with illegal immigration. And the state has been battling the White House, which seems to be trying to stop it from securing the border.
Things have been heating up ever since the state passed an anti-illegal immigration law. But Texas is in no way backing down. But, just recently, the Texas National Guard just captured property… and is keeping the feds out.
The Texas National Guard has seized control of city property in a key border crossing point and is restricting access by the Border Patrol…
“The Texas National Guard has maintained a presence with security points and temporary barrier in Shelby Park since 2021. The current posture is to prepare for future illegal immigrant surges and to restrict access to organizations that perpetuate illegal immigrant crossings in the park and greater Eagle Pass area,” they told the outlet. The Texas National Guard, under guidance by the governor it appears, has seized control of property in a crossing point at Eagle Pass. This town has, as you might know, become a major pathway into the country for migrants. The town has all been overtaken by illegal entrants.
It seems the state of Texas is securing Shelby Park, which has been frequently used by migrants. And, the Texas National Guard is not allowing Border Patrol—a federal agency—from gaining access to this area.
Why are they doing this? Because Border Patrol, under Joe Biden, has been simply processing migrants. The agency has not been securing the border, nor turning away those who are attempting to enter illegally.
Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is forcing Border Patrol to be, essentially, doormen for illegals. They process migrants and release them into the country. In some cases, they are taken to San Antonio and flown to nearly anywhere. Few are given court dates.
None, it appears, are being monitored by the federal government.
Biden has apparently turned the one agency created to prevent illegal immigration into a mechanism that supports illegal immigration. And the Texas National Guard will not let Border Patrol get its hands on this entry point.
What will be the result? Will Biden end up fighting the National Guard? Could this lead to an actual civil war?
