Woke Company Outed for Dirty Secret – They’ve Been Lying to You For Years

We are living in an age where boycotts can really have an effect on society. Americans started boycotting so-called woke brands recently. And the fallout has been devastating. Bud Light is near collapse. Target lost billions. And Disney is a laughing stock when it once was a juggernaut.

Companies that are run by progressive liberals need to be very worried. So, it might not come as a surprise that some of them are trying to be sneaky bout their support for the radical left.

One brand is respected among buyers for its quality products, albeit at high prices. It has always worn its progressive message on its sleeve. But apparently, it was keeping a secret it didn’t want anyone to know. Now, it is facing a complaint that could land it in hot water.

Watchdog group Americans for Public Trust (APT) has filed a campaign finance complaint against outdoor clothing company Patagonia’s tax-exempt arm for allegedly misrepresenting donations.

According to the complaint filed Thursday with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), a collective of climate-focused tax-exempt groups — which altogether hold 98% of Patagonia’s nonvoting shares worth nearly $1.8 billion — misidentified political contributions made to Democrat political action committees in 2022.

Such a misidentification, the complaint alleges, violates the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA), which prohibits individuals from making contributions in the name of another and prohibits the use of one’s name to be used to make contributions in the name of another. As a result, APT requested the FEC conduct an investigation to determine, and impose appropriate sanctions for, any and all violations. [Source: Fox Business]

Maybe you’ve sworn off buying Patagonia products a long time ago, because of its insufferable environmental message. But the large outdoor brand has been pushing a woke agenda for years. And it was allegedly hiding large contributions to Democrat PACs.

A group of tax-exempt climate organizations, which hold 98% of Patagonia shares, was misidentifying donations to the left—according to this complaint. If allowed to go on, this company and others would be able to funnel tremendous amounts of cash to Democrats, without anybody knowing it.

That would let them skirt limits on donations and give them an outsized voice within the party. It is corruption at its most basic level—and it seems the company had no problem doing it.

If word gets out that Patagonia is a woke shill that is dumping money into senile Joe Biden’s coffers, perhaps plenty of customers will drop their products. There had to be a reason why the company tried to hide these donations.

It would be a shame if Americans decided to boycott them…
