For decades, Democrats have bragged that they are the party of unions. As recently as 2020, Joe Biden enjoyed endorsements and support from major labor unions across America. But, let’s be real here, what did Biden actually do to help these working Americans?
Nada.
In fact, Biden has gone out of his way to hurt union workers, thanks to his manufactured border crisis. Biden has welcomed over 7 million undocumented workers into this country—who will steal good jobs from union workers. And that’s not getting into Biden’s extreme environmental push, which is jeopardizing the welfare of millions of working families.
Yet, just a few years ago, American workers were sitting pretty. Jobs were coming back to the country and wages were going up. Why? Because we had a president who shut down illegal immigration and negotiated for Americans. It looks like some unions are starting to see the light. And one of the biggest just made a huge contribution to Trump’s election efforts.
Major labor union the Teamsters that has donated to Democrats for decades pledged a $45,000 donation to the Republican National Committee last month after meeting with former President Donald Trump.
The reported donation is not an endorsement of the Republican nominee or Trump as the frontrunner, however, it is a move in stark contrast to the union supporting every Democratic nominee for the president since Al Gore.

Okay, this might not seem like a big deal to you. But trust me when I say alarm bells are going off within the Democratic Party. The Teamsters is one of the biggest labor unions in the country. It has backed every Democrat president since Al Gore—that was in 2000.
And now, they just dropped a large donation to the Republican National Committee, after meeting with Trump. According to reports, they’ve met with the former president twice already.
This is a huge shift in a group that was thought of as locked up by Democrats. Nobody ever believed Teamsters—or any other union—would side with Republicans.
But this is the Trump effect. He has long been called the “blue-collar billionaire.” Trump has a way of connecting with regular, down-to-earth folks that baffles the ruling elite. It should come as no surprise that a man who has worked with Teamsters for decades could convince them to contribute to his party.
This will have Democrats panicking. They can’t brag that the biggest union is backing them when Teamsters just gave $45,000 to the GOP. How many members of that union are now planning to vote for Trump?
This is very bad news for Biden…
