I don’t have to tell you that, under Joe Biden, the federal government has been horribly mismanaged. The absolute worst people have been appointed to lead important agencies. A radical environmentalist was put in charge of the Department of Energy. A corrupt mayor was put in charge of the Department of Transportation.
Criminals are overseeing the Departments of Homeland Security and Justice. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
But perhaps the most offensive thing is going on at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Under Trump, the historically corrupt agency was actually doing good for our service men and women. The second Joe Biden took over, however, this agency went back to neglecting our veterans, while officials squandered tax dollars.
How bad is it? Even the department meant to root out problems in the VA is corrupt!
The Department of Veterans Affairs office dedicated to rooting out racism and harassment is itself a “hostile, toxic work environment with a permissive culture of rampant gossiping and innuendo,” where multiple layers of top officials participated in and covered up sexual harassment, an internal agency review concluded.
At one point, a senior manager fired a mid-level manager because both men wanted to sexually harass the same employee. When a complaint was filed, a political appointee sat on it, apparently partly for racial reasons.
The 125-page report paints a shocking portrait of the 400-person diversity office, in which employees spent much of their time filing complaints against each other instead of serving veterans. Employees engaged in “self-aggrandizing,” petty turf wars, and planned wasteful events, including one junket in which nine people travelled to dispense “diversity” training that was supposed to have been done by one person. The VA under Joe Biden just might be the most dysfunctional organization we’ve seen in human history. It’s so pathetically mismanaged that the department within it meant to root our harassment was itself overwhelmed by harassment and attacks.
The office, which has a bloated staff of 400 people, was too busy filing complaints against each other than making sure the entire VA was helping our veterans.
Officials ignored sexual harassment complaints, because of the race of the persons being accused. Employees were out for themselves while engaging in petty turf wars.
How pathetic do you have to be to find a turf war at the VA? This isn’t Google or another Fortune 500 company, but a government agency with little power.
The VA has long been blasted by Americans for taking billions in tax dollars and wasting them. Veterans are often neglected, left waiting for life-saving treatment and care. The agency has even denied the existence of PSTD, to avoid having to pay for mental health care!
It is particularly disgusting to learn that an agency meant to provide benevolence to veterans is this corrupt. Not only are they cheating Americans, but they are leaving our hurting and wounded soldiers in the dust.
Under Trump, the agency was improving and actually helping veterans. We aren’t surprised that all went away, when a crooked man like Joe Biden took over.
