Biden Issues Statement on Israel Protests – But Critics Point Out Glaring Problem

For over six months, anti-Israel progressives have been slandering the Jewish nation. They have called Israel an “apartheid state” and blamed them for the October 7th Hamas attack. This movement was ignored by Democrats and college presidents.

In recent weeks, it has exploded in violence and vandalism. Protesters have built encampments and have endangered Jewish students. They are using antisemitic slogans and appear to have targeted Jewish Americans.

Despite this, Joe Biden has neither said nor done anything. Only after police in numerous states arrest countless protesters, has the administration done something.

President Biden broke his silence on Thursday regarding the anti-Israel demonstrations that are roiling colleges and universities around the nation, condemning the violence that has broken out and saying that “order must prevail.”…

The White House dusted Joe Biden off and gave him a 3-minute speech to condemn months of antisemitism and hate. He claimed America is not a “lawless country.” He called for order to prevail, but he did not mention any action by his administration, including using the National Guard to end these protests.

While he said there is “no place” for antisemitism on campuses, he was quick to defend Muslims against “Islamophobia,” despite a total lack of such a thing during these protests. Pro-Palestinian, pro-Hamas groups are singling out Jews, putting them in harm’s way. Nobody has done the same to Muslims.

Biden did not mention whether the DOJ is investigating these protests, even though signs point to outside influence. After the short comments, conservative leaders were quick to call out a major flaw in Biden’s claims.

A 2020 social media post by then-presidential candidate Joe Biden blaming then-President Donald Trump for violence in the U.S. is drawing renewed criticism after violence has erupted on college campuses nationwide stemming from anti-Israel protests.

“Joe Biden has looked the other way as Democrat foot soldiers hijack universities across America,” Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe [said]…

Users are calling out the apparent hypocrisy being shown by Joe Biden. In 2020, he blamed Donald Trump for the “violence” that “happened on his watch.” Biden tried to capitalize on the riots and unrest that arose from the death of George Floyd.

Yet today, Biden takes zero responsibility for the chaos happening on college campuses. The people behind these protests are leftists who helped him get elected. Perhaps that is the real reason there is a shocking lack of leadership from the White House to restore law and order.

Biden is doing nothing, because he fears the progressive left more than he cares about protecting Jewish Americans.
