Buttigieg Shattered by Fact-Checkers–Liberal Paper Defends Trump Administration After Pete’s Claims

The Biden administration received yet another black eye after it fumbled the East Palestine, disaster. Pete Buttigieg is Biden’s head of the Department of Transportation. Yet he was MIA when a huge train carrying toxic chemicals spilled outside of this Ohio town. Although he should have been there on day one, he did nothing for weeks. He only showed up to town for a short photo op.

Quickly, though, he tried to make excuses. That seems to be the only thing Biden’s team is good at. Buttigieg claimed the trail’s derailment was Donald Trump’s fault, even though the man had been out of office for over three years. Buttigieg claimed Trump-era regulations allowed the derailment.

But, what do you know, a liberal paper just put Pete in his place.

The Washington Post reviewed “every possible regulatory change” that was made under the Trump administration and found that none of them contributed to the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

“We decided to examine every possible regulatory change made under Trump that could be related to the accident and assess whether it could have made an impact,” read a review published Monday by Glenn Kessler at the Washington Post.

“From our analysis, none of the regulatory changes made during the Trump administration at this point can be cited as contributing to the accident,” Kessler added. [Source: Breitbart]

Ouch! Pete tried to worm out of his responsibility for the train derailment by claiming a Trump-era rule led to the disaster. But the Washington Post examined every regulatory change made under the Trump administration. And the newspaper (which has no reason to defend Trump) found that none of them contributed to the accident.

Not only that, but one of Biden’s members on the National Transportation Safety Board blasted Buttigieg’s claim as misinformation. And even leftist rag the New York Times had to turn on Buttigieg, saying that his claim was inaccurate.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump traveled to East Palestine first. And while Buttigieg was there to do nothing, Trump provided water and other supplies to help. Biden’s administration, on the other hand, refused to provide FEMA aid to the town–despite officials making things worse by burning the toxic chemicals, releasing them into the air.

Evidence is building that this is one of the worst ecological disasters in recent history. Biden’s administration could be responsible for countless Americans getting sick–facing serious illnesses thanks to this blunder.

Pete can blame Trump all he wants. But we all know he and his idiot boss are to blame.
