The House is currently in chaos after Rep. Matt Gaetz got House Speaker McCarthy removed from his job. The self-centered lawmaker joined with Democrats to get enough votes to remove McCarthy, which can only be called a win for the left. Now, the House is without a speaker, in a blow to Republicans’ attempts at holding Crooked Joe and his party accountable for many crimes.
Why would Gaetz do this? Some say he is trying to distract from his major ethics violations, including sexual assault. He clearly thinks he is a hero in this drama, despite the massive damage he caused to the party… and country. In fact, minutes after he tanked this Congress he had the audacity to send out fundraising texts and emails!
And so, a fellow Florida Republican took his to task on the House floor.
Rep. Garret Graves (R-FL) exploded on Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) during a House floor speech on Tuesday afternoon where he pulled out his phone and showed that Gaetz was fundraising off his efforts to remove House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) from the speakership…
“And all of a sudden, my phone keeps sending text messages,” he continued. “Text messages saying, ‘Hey, give me money.’ Oh, look at that. ‘Give me money, I filed a motion to vacate.’ Using official actions, official actions to raise money. It’s disgusting. It’s what’s disgusting about Washington.”

Graves ridiculed Gaetz’s obvious self-serving agenda, calling him “disgusting.” After successfully screwing over his party in the upcoming election, Gaetz sent out messages demanding money from supporters.
This only proves his attack against McCarthy had nothing to do with helping the country, but helping his career. He tried to brag to folks back home that he “won” and wanted money for his re-election!
Graves said this is “what’s disgusting about Washington.”
Gaetz’s move is sure to secure Democrats’ control of the House after the next election. Republicans fought tooth and nail to get a slim majority. But they couldn’t even stay united for a year. Democrats will use this to slander the party and convince voters they do a better job.
Doesn’t matter that Democrats will increase taxes, destroy the border, give jobs to illegal immigrants, spend billions to fund wars, and spread more lawlessness and poverty. Voters will back them because Republicans look like a bunch of children who can’t work together.
No matter how divided Democrats are, they always stick together. Nancy Pelosi was a terrible House Speaker. She caved to the radical left and flip-flopped on her promises. But she was able to get her party to support her and pass many pieces of legislation.
Yet one crooked liar was able to destroy House Republicans’ future. And he wants money for it!
