Joe Biden is running for re-election in 2024. He promised to “finish the job” he started in his first term. I guess he means finish opening the border to illegals, ignoring rampant crime, and giving all our money away to Ukraine.
But Biden is going to need all the support he can get if he wants to win 2024. Biden will not be able to stay in the White House unless he can convince several key battleground states to break his way.
One of those states can swing wildly from election to election. It has supported both Republicans and Democrats, thanks to its large blue-collar voting base. Clearly, Biden needs them. But he won’t like this recent poll.
A poll shows former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden in the important state of Ohio by 12 points.
Surveying 438 registered voters between October 2-4 with a +/- 4.5 percentage points margin of error, the Emerson College Polling survey found that Trump holds a commanding lead over Biden — 45 percent to 33 percent.
“Trump leads Biden by 12 points in Ohio, a larger lead than his 2020 and 2016 victories of about eight points,” Emerson College Professor Spencer Kimball noted. [Source: Breitbart]

According to a new Emerson College Poll, Donald Trump is leading Biden in Ohio by twelve points. Trump is winning the swing state by a larger lead than he enjoyed in either 2016 or 2020. If this trend holds until next year, Trump will win the state by a large margin.
It might come as a surprise to some readers that Trump is doing so well. The former president is facing four indictments by Democrat-led prosecutions. In addition to this, he is dealing with other lawsuits and challenges against his business and family.
The mainstream media continues to accuse Trump of various misdeeds and Democrats call his supporters “Ultra MAGA” Republicans–often saying they are “threats” to democracy.
The fact that Trump is winning by a commanding lead in a swing state could be the result of Biden’s own policies. Many critics have blamed Biden’s spending agenda on ongoing inflation. While the mainstream media has allegedly been silent on the border crisis, many Republicans and independent outlets have reported on the devastating issue.
Biden’s approval has been well below 50% for years. Ohio voters might be disgruntled with his leadership. Trump’s lead has grown, suggesting former Biden voters are now supporting him. It is likely they hope the former president can reverse Biden’s decisions and restore some prosperity to their state.
