Soon after war broke out in Israel, Americans learned the horrible truth about many of their family members. Reportedly thousands of Americans were in Israel, as it went to war with Hamas. From workers to tourists, Americans were caught in the crossfire.
The Biden administration at first refused to help. The State Department told Americans to try to buy plane tickets, fully aware that flights had been grounded. But then added insult to injury by flying a few Americans to Athens, but only if they vowed to pay the government back. Joe left those Americans to fend for themselves in Greece.
Sounds about right for this administration!
Now, one Republican is doing what Biden refused.
An airlift operation initiated by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis evacuated 300 American citizens trapped inside Israel and is set to arrive in Florida on Sunday night…
DeSantis signed an executive order on Thursday authorizing the state to conduct rescue and evacuation operations in Israel following Hamas’ deadly terror attacks last weekend, which have killed well over two dozen Americans…
“The Biden administration has failed to launch any form of rescue or evacuation operations for Americans, including Floridians, stranded in the region, and has failed to provide information requested by the State of Florida about any plans for such operations,” DeSantis said. [Source: Daily Wire]
Gov. DeSantis of Florida signed an order to airlift 300 Americans out of Israel, flying them directly to Tampa, Florida. He slammed Biden for doing so little to help Americans in danger. His office also encouraged others still stranded to contact them for help.
He even offered to find a way to help Americans abandoned by Biden in Athens.
Why is Biden so unwilling to help Americans in need? He’s left the border open, allowing millions of illegal aliens to invade our country. He’s given away billions of our tax dollars to fund a war in Ukraine.
He’s bent over backward to make China and Iran happy. Yet he won’t lift a finger to cut taxes, increase energy production, or lower inflation. He ignores the crime epidemic that is costing American lives and destroying big cities.
It seems like Biden goes out of his way to enrich our enemies and big-name Democrat donors. But regular Americans struggle to survive? Meh, they get last place. It took a governor just one order to get 300 Americans home.
But Biden refuses to use the resources of the federal government to save American lives.
Isn’t that impeachment worthy?
